Questions
What order do I finish wood in?
Sand, fill holes, sand again, then stain and topcoat. Test stain on a scrap or hidden spot first.
Water-based or oil-based finish?
Water-based finishes dry fast and stay clear; oil-based finishes add warmth and are very durable. Follow the product's recoat times.
Do you sell unfinished decorative wood?
Yes. Many corbels, mouldings and onlays come unfinished in woods like maple, cherry and poplar, plus paint-grade resin.
