Cabinet Knobs & Drawer Knobs

Cabinet knobs and drawer knobs mount with a single screw, so they're the simplest way to update doors, drawers, dressers and vanities. Shop round, square, T-knob, mushroom, crystal and wood knobs from Top Knobs, Amerock, Schaub, Hickory Hardware and Deltana, plus CSH's own mission knobs and wood knobs.

Shop knobs by finish

Polished nickel, chrome, oil-rubbed bronze, champagne bronze and pewter knobs are here too: use the finish filter.

Wood knobs

The CSH OT-style wooden knob comes in maple, red oak, cherry, walnut, hickory, pine and bird’s eye maple, in 1-1/8" and 1-1/2" diameters, with an 8-32 machine screw insert.

Match your pulls

Most knob families have matching cabinet pulls, so you can use knobs on doors and pulls on drawers in the same style and finish. A backplate behind a knob adds detail or covers marks from old hardware.

Questions

Should I put knobs or pulls on kitchen cabinets?

A common layout is knobs on doors and pulls on drawers. Pulls are easier to grip on wide or heavy drawers; knobs are quicker to install because they use one hole.

Where do knobs go on cabinet doors?

On base cabinets, place the knob near the top corner opposite the hinges; on wall cabinets, near the bottom corner. Keep the same distance from the edge on every door so the line looks even.

What size cabinet knob should I use?

Most of our knobs are 1" to 1-1/2" in diameter, and 1-1/4" is the most common size. Larger doors and drawers can take a bigger knob or a pull.

Can I replace a pull with a knob?

Yes, but a pull uses two holes and a knob uses one, so you will need to fill one hole or cover both with a backplate.
