Bifold barn door hardware hangs two hinged panels from rollers on a short rail, so the doors fold and slide to one side instead of needing a full door width of open wall. You get the barn door look on a closet or pantry where a regular sliding door won't fit. It's a good fit for hallway coat closets, bedroom closets, laundry closets and pantries.
Bifold barn door hardware kits
The bifold barn door hardware kit with rail is our best seller. It comes in front-mount or top-mount styles, with a 4, 5 or 6 ft rail, for a single bifold door or a double set. A black bifold barn door hardware kit is also available in front-mount and top-mount styles.
Maximum door width for each rail
In a bifold system one panel is fixed and pivots, so the strap position and rail length are fixed too. Size your doors to the rail. The total width of the door or doors on the rail can be up to:
- 48" rail: 49"
- 60" rail: 60-5/16"
- 72" rail: 72-1/4"
Doors wider than this won't center on the rail or won't fit.

The bifold mini barn door hardware kit brings the same folding action to cabinet and furniture doors. Choose a 48", 60" or 72" rail, satin nickel or black, for single or double doors. Top-mount and track versions are available too.
Replacement parts

Questions
What hardware does a bifold barn door need?
A rail, rollers to carry the moving panel, a hinge between the two panels and a bottom pivot for the fixed panel. The kit with rail includes the rail and hardware. The pivot plate, hinges, rollers and connectors are also sold on their own.
How wide can my bifold barn doors be?
Up to 49" total on the 48" rail, 60-5/16" on the 60" rail and 72-1/4" on the 72" rail.
Do you make bifold barn door hardware for cabinets?
Yes. The bifold mini barn door kits are made for cabinet and furniture doors and come with 48", 60" or 72" rails in satin nickel or black.
