Solidifying CSH's position as USA's leading rolling ladder manufacturer

Cedarburg, WI—Custom Service Hardware (CSH) is acquiring Putnam Ladder Co., Inc. and adding their rolling ladder options to CSH’s own Quiet Glide and E-Glide ladder lines to give customers even more custom options and flexibility. The acquisition will be finalized Feb. 5th.
Putnam Rolling Ladder Co. (based in Hoboken, NJ) has been in business since 1905 and is the oldest company producing rolling ladders in the US. They offer a fully customizable product, allowing customers to choose the wood type and the hardware, which is available in everything from chrome to oil-rubbed bronze to satin nickel.
CSH has been manufacturing their own brand of premium rolling ladders in Cedarburg since 2007 under the name Quiet Glide and has seen widespread success selling to contractors and retail DIYers across the country and around the world. More recently, CSH has pursued means of reaching a wider audience with more varied options and price points.
