The 3" x 21" sanding belt is a medium open coat that is crafted especially for softwoods, hardwoods, and metals. The heavy duty, moisture resistant product withstands tearing because it is backed with polyester and cotton cloth. 80 grit is great for smoothing of surfaces and removing imperfections and marks and the resin on resin bond insures an extended life. This product will offer you the bump free finish you are looking for and it can be run in either direction to make belt changing a snap.
