Sanding pads have a significant advantage over sandpaper. They can be held much more comfortably in the hand and as such can be applied with much more force. Made of Aluminum Oxide, these tough sanding pads are suited particularly well for grinding high tensile strength materials such as carbon steels, alloy steels, tough bronze and hard woods.
